The report provides demographic data, historically significant events, and trends that shape the giving choices of donors.
“Honoring the Past, Shaping the Future: Chinese American Philanthropy in the Bay Area“ provides a snapshot of findings and recommendations on how to further engage Chinese Americans in philanthropy.
WKKF launches web-based, racial equity resource guide.
This new report by Annie E. Casey Foundation explores the intersection of kids, race and opportunity. The report features the new Race for Results index, which compares how children are progressing on key milestones across racial and ethnic groups at the national and state level.
ABFE co-edits a special issue of The Foundation Review on Racial Equity Grantmaking.
New infographic by Funders for LGBTQ Issues highlights the lack of foundation support for gay, bisexual and transgender males of color. Ben Francisco Maulbeck, in response to President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative, calls for a more intentional and proactive strategy in including GBT males of color in the efforts of foundations and policymakers to improve the lives of boys and young men of color.
