Building the Movement: A Letter from the Director

D5 has been working closely with leaders in philanthropy, like you, to amplify the conversation about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)—and more importantly, to inspire action. Collaboration is a powerful tool to help advance DEI and we see D5 as playing an important role in connecting the great work you’re doing to the work of others.

We’re excited to help leaders in disparate parts of the country—from New Orleans, to California, to Iowa—expand their networks, create synergy, and ultimately build a movement. Below are just a few highlights of what we, together, have accomplished over the past few months.

D5 is a collaborative effort that is strengthened by all of our voices. We hope you’ll share stories and learnings about your progress so that collectively we can have even greater impact and inspire other leaders to take up the cause of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Sincerely,
Kelly Brown
