This 2011 study, conducted by the Foundation Center in collaboration with Hispanics in Philanthropy, documents what is currently known about U.S. foundation giving for Latinos in the United States, as well as funding for Latin America. This study, the first of its kind, examines foundation giving in the United States by funder type, issue area, geographic area, and type of support. The intent of this study is to spark dialogue within philanthropy about the current state of funding and ways to leverage future investments for the Latino community.
